Many people bemoaned the fact that when Final Cut Pro X came out there was no way to open old FCP 7 or older projects in it. That is no longer an issue with a app called 7 to X. Here’s the proof, a sequence I created in FCP 7 that is now open and operating in FCP X! You’ll notice how it used markers to retain the in and out points for the clips. I had retimed some of the clips and that was in tact as well.
This is my work, this is my fun…what’s the difference… :)
A new update came out yesterday, Final Cut Pro X is now all grown up! All the pro features that were lacking with FCPX’s release have been added and improved when compared to FCP7. It’s now ready to play with the big boys. It’s freakin awesome! :-)
One of my favorite episodes that I edited together from last season of the [Framed] Show! It’s a fun one. That photographer/makeup team is awesome. We bring you [Framed] from MediaPoint Studios (formerly B Roll Production Company). I mainly work as an video editor there. Check it!!
