Back To My Roots…
I’ve been shooting old school this last week with my Nikon F3HP and Kodak Portra 400 Color Film. It was film that got me into photography in the first place. At first I had a little point and shoot digital camera just like everyone else. Then my wife and I went to help her Grandmother clean up and pack up her house as she was moving out. In an old trunk I found a few old cameras. It was a treasure trove of sorts. Included was a Nikon Nikormat FT3. A great, old, all manual (except the light meter) camera. My Wife’s Grandmother very kindly gave the cameras to me. I quickly got some film and started shooting. Armed with the Nikormat, a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4 and some Walmart 35mm film I began a photo rampage that hasn’t stopped. Since then I’ve got a few more cameras and have created a few more photographs, both digital and film, but my first and true love is a 50mm lens and 35mm film.
Be on the lookout for new stuff coming soon.
